Six months later, we’re finally back—and somehow, almost everything has changed. Cooper is here, Tyler has officially survived his first few months of fatherhood, Shannon and Nate have moved back to Rome, and new jobs have placed Tyler at the boys’ elementary school. As if that weren’t enough, Tyler and Ashleigh are now preparing to move just a few houses down, making “Welcome to the ’Hood” much more literal than any of us intended.

We’re catching up on new babies, new jobs, new homes, small-town life, and the unexpected turns that brought all four of us into the same neighborhood. Along the way, we revisit Tyler’s first months as a dad, the smartwatch incident that nearly tested both a friendship and a new assistant principal, and the everyday marriage and parenting moments that remind us why sometimes all you can say is, “It’s fine.”
